Simple project plan template
A lightweight project plan structure you can actually maintain. Keep planning readable, keep execution visible, and keep updates consistent.

Use this in a doc, then convert it into lanes/cards in EasyRoadmap.

A simple process that works
1) Define the goal and boundaries
Write one measurable goal and a short “out of scope” list. This avoids endless expansion.
2) Add 3–6 milestones
Milestones are the backbone of planning. Keep them small and verifiable.
3) Put the next two weeks on a board
Use a Kanban board for day-to-day execution. Keep WIP limited.
4) Share one link for updates
A living plan beats slide decks. Share the same link every week and keep it current.
How to model this in EasyRoadmap
- Create lanes as workstreams (Design, Engineering, QA, Client).
- Create milestone cards and place them on the timeline.
- Track daily execution on the board using simple columns.
- Use one shared link for stakeholder visibility (optional password).
