Privacy Policy
Privacy information for EasyRoadmap.
Effective date: 2026-01-21
Summary
EasyRoadmap is designed to be local-first: you can create and edit a roadmap in your browser without creating an account. If you choose to save a workspace for sharing, we store that workspace in our backend so the link can be opened on other devices.
What we store
- In your browser (local storage): roadmap content and UI preferences so your workspace persists between visits.
- In our backend (only when you save/share): your workspace id and your roadmap content. Roadmap content is encrypted at rest in the database.
- Password protection (optional): if you set a password, we store a salted password hash (not the plaintext password).
How we use data
- To provide the product features you request (saving, loading, and sharing workspaces).
- To secure and protect the service (abuse prevention and debugging).
Cookies
EasyRoadmap does not require cookies to function. The app uses browser storage (for example, localStorage) to keep your workspace and settings.
Service providers
EasyRoadmap is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers and database services). Cloudflare may process network-level metadata (such as IP address and user agent) as part of delivering the service.
Retention and deletion
Browser-stored data stays on your device until you clear site data. If you saved a shared workspace, we retain it to keep the share link working. If you want a shared workspace deleted, contact us and include the workspace id.
